Buffalo Summer Classic

The 8th grade championship game between the unit and the blues. was one of the best games of the weekend! The unit started the game pushing the ball, and using there athleticism to attack the basket. They pushed the lead to 10 twice. But the blues dug in and started defending. They got one stop at a time and started limiting the unit to one shot every trip down the floor. Before you knew it we had a tied game with 2 minutes left. The lead went back and forth until the blues caused 2 late turnovers. The blues took a 4 piont lead with 50 seconds left in the game.  The unit came down and swung the ball side to side and then attacked the basket. They cut the lead to 2, then the unit picked up there defense.  They caused a turnover with 10 seconds left, but they just couldn’t get a good look at the basket. The blues held on and won by 2. What a game, and a great effort by both teams!!!!!
